About Us
Houston Crystals is a crystal growth service that grows crystals of a variety of functional inorganic materials. With nearly 20 years of crystal growth experience, Houston Crystals is able to grow large and high quality crystals of a variety of materials.
Houston Crystals was founded by Prof. P. Shiv Halasyamani who is the Hugh Roy and Lillie Cranz Cullen Distinguished University Chair and Professor of Chemistry at the University of Houston. Crystal Growth Methods
Houston Crystals possesses some of the most extensive crystal growth capabilities in the United States. These include Floating Zone, Bridgman, Czochralski, Top-Seeded Solution, and transport. Crystals that have been grown by these methods may be found here.
